For a waterproofing coating, mix UN1ON WP-60 and cement in a 1:1 ratio by volume until a smooth and uniform mixture is obtained.
The waterproofing coating is generally applied in two coats. The second coat should be applied crosswise to the first coat after the first coat has hardened. A third coat may be applied wherever necessary.
The first coat should be allowed to harden for approximately 4–6 hours, depending on temperature, humidity, and ventilation. If the second coat is applied 12 hours or later, the first coat should be lightly pre-wetted before application.
Store UN1ON WP-60 in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. The recommended shelf life is 12 months from the date of production when stored properly.
Suitable protective clothing, gloves, eye protection, and respiratory protective equipment should be used during application. Cementitious mixtures modified with WP-60 can release alkali when mixed or damp, which can be harmful to the skin and eyes.
